Outside Skin Theory

There is a story in China called Painted Skin. A ghost ueses a painted skin to pretend as a beautiful lady and goes to deceive others. Though the principle is sample, I didn't understand it really.

Now I think I know it more.

But what the problem is, that I see people as muscle, skin and bones now...
